Private lessons and 'Instinct Testing' sessions for all herding breeds are conducted at our home training facility in Dewey, AZ. 

Private lessons are also available before or after some off-site camps or clinic.  See the 'Calendar' for details.

Off-Site Clinics (including opportunities for private lessons and 'Instinct Testing') are held monthly in Queen Creek (east of Phoenix), except in summer months, and are offered in Litchfield Park (west of Phoenix).  Each clinic is 2-days (Saturday and Sunday).  Instinct Testing and private lessons are available the Friday before the clinic.  The clinic offers pen, arena or field work and are for all levels of dogs and handlers.  The focus will be on learning and practicing each aspect of stockdog work (outruns, balance, rating, driving, etc.) as well as specific course instruction and practice.

Extensive in-house stockdog training is available.   Dogs that come to Dawna for intensive, private training are housed in our professional boarding facility next to our home in Dewey, AZ.  Professional competition handling services are also available for all herding venues.
